Riichi Trainer is a free educational reference site for Riichi Mahjong. This page explains the limited data the site collects, why, and the rights you have.
Data we don't collect
The site has no user accounts, no login flow, and no comment system. We do not ask you for an email, name, location, or any other personal information. Nothing about your visit is tied to your identity.
Anonymous usage analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. Vercel Analytics is cookieless and IP-anonymised — it counts visits in aggregate without storing identifying information.
Performance measurements
We use Vercel Speed Insights to measure how fast pages load on real visits. Like Analytics, this captures only anonymous performance metrics, not personal data.
Cookies
This site does not set tracking cookies. A small amount of preference data (such as your chosen theme and language) is stored in your browser's localStorage to remember your choices across visits; this stays on your device and is never sent to a server.
Third-party services
The site is hosted by Vercel. Vercel may log basic request data (timestamps, country, user agent) as part of operating the platform; see Vercel's own privacy policy for details. We do not share any data with advertisers (the site currently shows no ads).
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to request, export, or delete. If you have a question about your privacy on this site, contact us through the GitHub repository linked below.
Changes to this policy
If the data we collect ever changes, we will update this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will also be summarised at the top of the page for a reasonable period.
